Hi guys,

It's already the end of April, which means the summer is just around the corner and I'm sure many expat families are beginning to make plans for their summer vacation.  It's not uncommon that routines get thrown out the window while on holidays, but if you get into the habit of exercising daily, even if it's just for 10 minutes, there's a good chance that you'll still be able to maintain your routine and not come back from your vacation feeling guilty for eating too much and not moving enough.  So if you haven't started exercising, now is the time to start!

Today's workout is a perfect start for anyone as I also show beginner variations ...

Hi guys,

The most common barrier for not exercising is lack of time.  So today I'm blowing that excuse out of the water and giving you an easy-to-do 4-minute workout.  You can literally do it anywhere, anytime!  You don't need any equipment, nor do you need alot of space - so there really are no excuses left.  Although this workout is short, you'll be working you entire body from head to toe!  And beginners, I've also got you covered.  I show you easier modifications towards the end of the video for you to give it a try as well.

As my son demonstrates in the video, kids can do it as well, so if you have children, have them join in the fun as ...

Hi guys,

The end of the week is here and since I'll be busy preparing for my eldest son's birthday party this Saturday, I needed a "no-brainer" workout.  What that means is that I'm training every major muscle group individually but I'm using my interval timer to track my sets instead of counting repetitions.  It's a great full body workout that will only take you 14 minutes to do.  If you're a beginner or pressed for time, you can cut the time in half by only doing one set of each exercise instead of two.

Remember to always include a warm-up and stretches afterwards. The full workout details are below:

Hi guys,

There are so many ways to train your muscles. There really isn't a right or a wrong way.  The best tip however is to constantly change your routine and stimulate your muscles using different training techniques.  Today's workout does just that. Each exercise should be performed with extreme control, which will increase stabilization endurance.  The slow movement creates greater tension and you'll really feel the muscles burning.

You will perform the routine in a circuit (i.e. one exercise after the other) and use your interval timer to keep track of each round. Your goal is to complete the circuit 3 times. It will take you 15 minutes to finish unless you need more time to ...

Hi Guys,

Those who know me know that I'm a busy-body.  But my "busy" has been escalated to "chaotic" since my kids have been off of school, and so today I decided to introduce you to my little munchkins for the first time.  Having said that, I hope you understand why today's workout is in fact just a fitness tip where I show you how to make a home made jump rope using socks and whatever you have for added weight.  This simple tip is also useful for those who aren't coordinated enough to jump rope, so now there really are no excuses!  Please let me know if you find this tip useful and would like to see more ...

Hi Guys,

So today's workout is a 10-minute countdown workout, which means you have to complete the routine as many times as you can before the time is up.  The beauty of this type of workout is the flexibility to make it easier or more challenging.  You can do this by increasing the length of your workout, increasing the number of repetitions, or decreasing the amount of rest between each exercise.  You won't need any equipment at all, so it's a great workout if you're travelling or you don't have alot of time.  Once again, it focuses on the whole body so you can get the most out of your workout.

As always, don't forget to warm-up first and stretch after your&...

Hi Guys,

We all have days where we have less energy.  On days like that, I like to get my blood flow circulating with a great cardio workout.  Today's workout does just that.  There are 3 different exercises that will get your heart rate up and give you an instant energy boost.  While going for a run or jumping on a treadmill may seem like a simpler cardio alternative, you can make your workouts much more effective in a shorter amount of time by doing intervals and using bodyweight exercises.  Aside from being more fun, the other benefit of doing shorter and more intense workouts is the fact that you're putting less strain on the joints - a big plus!

Today's cardio workout...
